The industrial laundry was faced with the challenge of upgrading its old machines to improve their energy efficiency. The laundry made the transition from conventional gas dryers to 60 kg DTT-60 G ECO-ENERGY tumble dryers, two DHS-80C washing machines and a LIBRA 3 towel folder.
The LIBRA 3 towel folder
The LIBRA towel folder is designed and built to fold terry linen of different sizes from doormats to beach towels. These machines are ideal for resorts, hotels, spas, sports clubs and any business that needs to process large quantities of linen.
The towel folding machine is the perfect complement to the laundry as it folds 800 pieces per hour on average and is easy to use:
- 20 preset and 79 configurable programmes.
- Touch screen control panel with multiple languages.
- Sorts up to 4 different sizes of garments, which can be inserted indistinctly.
- Lower output to configurable output belt.
- Working parameters selectable from the keyboard.
- All functions visualised on display.
- Warning of errors and alarms on the keyboard.
- Partial and total production calculation.

A promising future with ECOTANK XL
In the future, the industrial laundry plans to install ECOTANK XL water recovery tanks to reduce annual water (68%) and energy (40%) consumption.
These devices are attached to the washing machines and are easily adaptable to the front washer extractors and sanitary barrier models. The TOUCH II microprocessor also allows programming and connection between the machine and the tank.
